Today the Free Spirits (part of the Women's Club) took a day trip to some gardens an hour outside of Brussels. Les Jardins d'Annevoie were lovely. To make us all feel better about not owning a chateau, in 2000 the owners had to donate the gardens to a non-profit to open for tours because they were going bankrupt from the maintence of them. It takes around 20 full time gardeners to keep them up. Now aren't you glad you just have a regular sized house and yard?
