Read any good books lately?

I recently attended my Free Spirits monthly potluck luncheon. I had a great time--those women can really cook! Our table ended up getting into an enlightening conversation about books we have recently read. One of the many things I have loved about my time here in Brussels is the amount I have been able to read. I think I definitely have more time to read than normal, but all the people I hang out with read a lot too, which encourages me to read more so I can take part in the conversations. It is so refreshing to be at a cocktail party and discuss interesting books rather than the gray weather.

I just came across this really cool website. You can become a member (for free) and make a list of all the books you have ever read. Trust me, it makes you feel very accomplished! I made a list of just the books I have read in the past year (keep in mind I had a lot of downtime) and it totaled 17!!!
