Ready, Set, Push!

So the race has begun. In the last few months I have found out that four of my really good friends are all pregnant. This also coinscides with the fact that I have taken up knitting and I have a lot of free time on my hands. Since I think handmade gifts are the sweetest, I have decided to knit a baby blanket. The catch is that I know I am not the best or fastest knitter and I definitely know I can't churn out four blankets, so I have come to a decision. I will make ONE baby blanket (that happens to be the color pink because I liked that yarn better.) Whichever baby is born closest to the day I finish the blanket will get it. If the thought of a baby blanket knitted by me doesn't make my friends want to push then I don't know what does!
