Over the last four years I have brought food to lots and lots of new mothers. Every time I dropped it off I would ask if they were getting any sleep and if the baby was good. I really thought those were the only struggles these moms were experiencing at the time. Little did I know that the lack of sleep was just the tip of a very, very big iceberg for any new mother. And the sad part is that all the rest of the iceberg is stuff that you can't really talk about in polite company. So without going into too much detail (because I know that before I had a baby I sure didn't want to know about these details) just remember that a new mother is most likely experiencing so, so many other things in her mind and her body that she isn't saying to you.

The best thing is that it all comes together and gets better in time as the baby grows before your very eyes, so hang in there and enjoy him! Thinking of y'all!!!
