Case in point -- the other day he was laying against my shoulder being so sweet. Kyle walked out of the room to get the camera and by the time he got back, this was the photo. (I feel like a really bad mom to be caught laughing while my son is obviously unhappy, but it was just too funny and a minute later he was calm again).
After 4 1/2 years of carefree living in Brussels, we are back in Atlanta with 2 kids, 2 cars and a mortgage!

In the blink of an eye
Charlie really is an angel almost all the time. However, his mood can change in an instant. This has really presented a problem when we try and make a phone call and especially when we do the videophone with our parents. He might be cooing and adorable but by the time we get the call going he is crying and we can't hear each other talking because his screams are so loud.

Emily,
I'm glad you have learned to laugh when Charlie is upset, because that is going to happen a million times. Even when he is grown, you are going to look at Kyle, shake your head a little, and laugh at the things that are "ruining his world", usually your fault of course.
